Hotel Keflavik was founded on the 17th of May, 1986 and is the first hotel in Keflavik as well as the first hotel to provide airport travel services following the opening of the Keflavik International Airport. Hotel Keflavik has always been family-owned and operated by Steinthor Jonsson and his family. The idea behind Hotel Keflavik is to provide guests an experience of first class hotel accommodations combined with the personal care and dedication to service that you expect from family-operated establishments but rarely find in today´s larger commercial hotels.
For 3 decades Hotel Keflavik has provided guests four-star amenities in clean, comfortable and well-appointed rooms, concierge services, shuttle service and free parking, state of the art fitness center access, an elegant restaurant and full function meeting rooms. Hotel Keflavik is already a well-established base for travelers to either start or end their trips and excursions throughout Iceland.
